Marguerite M. "Ritie" (Olson) Jellison

Marguerite M. “Ritie” Jellison, 73, of Latrobe, died Monday, June 8, 2026 in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.  She was born May 26, 1953 in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy K. (Rimel) Olson.  Ritie worked at Hampton Inn in Latrobe and previously worked at the former Frank’s Lounge and former Bi-Lo both in Blairsville.  Ritie liked playing bingo and doing crossword books and especially spending time with her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Elmer G. Olson and 3 sisters, Geraldine I. Walters, Mary Ann Stephenson and Jody M. Garufi.  She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Kaylor (Jerry Harr) of Latrobe, her son, Chris “Bert” Small (wife Kelly) of Derry, 5 grandchildren, Christopher Frowen, Madison Provance (Shane), Sydney Kaylor and Aubrey and Aiden Small, 2 great granddaughters, Avery and Alivia, her sister, JoLynn Scholfield of Unity Township, several nieces and nephews and beloved lifetime friend Cindy Embry.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity.  A memorial service will be held at 3 PM with Pastor Matthew P. Schwender officiating.
