Margaret A. Palcic

Margaret A. “Marge” Palcic, 95, of Mammoth died Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Life’s Promise Personal Care Home, Cook Township.  She was born June 18, 1929 in Mammoth, a daughter of the late Ignac S. and Mary E. (Repiscak) Palcic.  Prior to retirement she was employed by AAMCO Sewing Factory (formerly Union Apparel) in Norvelt for 50 years.  She was a member of St. Florian Catholic Church, United, and its Altar Society and was a graduate of Hurst High School.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers:  Stephen R., Ignatius S. “Iggy”, and George E. Palcic; and 5 sisters:  Ann Skovira, Kay F. Palcic, Agnes L. Palcic, Pauline Newell and Mary Tandaric.  She is survived by nieces and nephews, Robert Newell, Debbie Chappell and husband Frank, Stephen Palcic and wife Debbie and George Palcic, Jr., several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity.  Prayers will begin at 10:30 AM in the funeral home followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 AM in St. Florian Catholic Church with The Rev. John A. Sedlak as celebrant.  Interment will follow in St. Florian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township.
