Margaret A. “Peggy” Pacek, 85, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, October 29, 2025, in St. Anne’s Home, Greensburg. She was born March 9, 1940, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Margaret (Macey) and George Pacek, Sr. Prior to retirement she had been employed as a Registered Nurse at Westmoreland Hospital. She was a member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Moyer; brother, George Pacek, Jr.; and brothers-in-law, Ceward “Shiner” Poole and William Moyer. She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Poole of Greensburg; a brother, Regis Pacek and wife Carol of Little Rock, AK; four beloved godsons, Rick Moyer and wife Maryanne, Gregory Moyer, Michael Poole, Bradley Poole and wife Samantha, and several other nieces, nephews, and family members. A funeral mass will begin at 10 AM Friday in St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg. Please go directly to the church. Inurnment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. The St. Bruno Parish Rosary Altar Society will pray the rosary at 9:30 AM Friday, prior to mass. LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg is assisting with arrangements.
