Margaret E. Anthony, 88, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024, in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. She was born April 28, 1936, in Greensburg, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Jane (McAdams) Teeters. Margaret was a lifelong member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, where she was active in many areas of her church. She was a telephone operator for the former Bell Telephone Company and later worked at the Girl Scout Council of Westmoreland. She also enjoyed volunteering at Westmoreland Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Anthony, Jr. on December 15, 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Susan E. Beck and her husband Dr. Donald of Wexford; her son, Michael J. Anthony and his wife Sherry of Greensburg; the joy of being a grandma to two awesome grandkids, Matthew J. Beck and Marissa J. Fenton and her husband Noah who brought so much joy into her life; sisters-in-law, Theresa Schaeffer and Mary Troy; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 11 AM to 1 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg, followed by a funeral service to begin at 1 PM in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery Mausoleum, Greensburg.
