Lorraine H. (Hartzell) Ackerman

Lorraine H. Ackerman, 91, of Southwest Greensburg, died Thursday, June 11, 2026, in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. She was born September 1, 1934, in Weaversville, the daughter of the late J.C. and Elsie (Huber) Hartzell.  Lorraine was a graduate of Nazareth Area High School. She was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ, Greensburg and the church’s Friendship Circle.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Ackerman; and two brothers, Ray and Kenneth Hartzell.  She is survived by two daughters, Janice Miller (Ron) and Julie Lawrence (Mark); her son, John Ackerman (Dr. Melissa); five grandchildren, Lexie Miller (Mike), Katie Szklinski (Jeff), Andrew Miller (Morgan), Isabel Ackerman, and August Lawrence; two great grandchildren, Evans and Myles; and several nieces and nephews.
