Lorena Jeanne (Jones) Miller

(Lorena) Jeanne Miller, 94, a resident of UPMC Weatherwood Manor, Greensburg, formerly of South Greensburg, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021. She was born August 14, 1927 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Laurence W. Jones Sr., and the late Mary Lorene Wengert Jones. Jeanne was a graduate of Greensburg High School, class of 1945. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Robertshaw Credit Union, of New Stanton, PA. Jeanne’s greatest joy was spending time with her family. She loved reading, and always had a current book she was enjoying. Jeanne also, over the years, collected miniatures and accessories and dolls. In addition to her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her husband, Donald Miller; and brothers, Laurence W. "Larry" Jones Jr. and Thomas A. Jones. She is survived by six sons, Howard “Larry” Thomas and wife Michele of Gibsonia, PA; David Thomas and wife Jennifer of Camp Hill, PA; Mark Thomas of Charleroi, PA; Robert Thomas and wife Ann, of Greensburg, PA; Gary Thomas and wife Karin of Monroe, GA; and Eric Hueg and wife Liz of San Clemente, CA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Lois Maloy of Greensburg, PA.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.  www.bachafh.com
