It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Lisa A. Johnson, 55, of Greensburg, PA, a devoted mother and gifted makeup artist, who departed this world unexpectedly on January 25, 2024.
Born August 23, 1968, in Norvelt, PA, Lisa had a passion for beauty and pursued her dreams relentlessly. Her journey as a makeup artist was more than just a profession; it was her calling. With a skilled hand and a creative eye, she transformed faces into canvases, bringing out the inherent grace and elegance in each person she touched.
Beyond her remarkable talents, Lisa was not just a mother but a guiding light, a pillar of strength, and a source of unconditional love for her daughter, Madalena Filosemi. Through every trial and triumph, Lisa stood by her daughter's side, offering unwavering support, encouragement, and boundless love. Her nurturing spirit created a warm and loving home where laughter echoed, and memories flourished.
Devoted partner, Paul Ziman, showered Lisa with affection and understanding. Their shared passion for antiques was not merely a hobby; it was a profound bond that brought them closer together, sparking excitement with each new discovery. His presence in her life brought warmth and joy, and their love knew no bounds.
She leaves behind a legacy of beauty, not only in the faces she adorned but also in the hearts she touched. Lisa’s wit and humor were a guiding light, brightening every room she entered. The absence she leaves is deeply felt, creating a void in the yearning for her funny stories, jokes, and the guidance that shaped countless lives.
Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Marjorie (Skergan) Johnson; and her brother, Terry L. Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Madalena Filosemi; her fiancé, Paul Ziman; three brothers, Don Johnson (Gwyneth), Scott Johnson (Sheree), and Bruce Johnson (Monica); her sister, Nancy Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where a celebration of life will begin at 7 PM.
