Linda M. (Owen) Brady

Linda M. Brady, 73, of Unity Township, died Monday, July 1, 2024 at home.  She was born February 10, 1951 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Titus E. Owen and Mary Louise (Lockiec) Gendron.  She was raised in Ohio by her mother and step-father, Paul G. Gendron.  She was a graduate of Ursuline High School and Youngstown State University.  Linda worked for Strouss Department Store in Youngstown, Ohio then moved to Denver, Colorado where she met the love of her life and married James P. Brady in Campbell, Ohio June 30, 1979, just celebrating 45 years of marriage.  They then moved to Pennsylvania and settled around Greensburg and Latrobe.  Linda worked in the retail and marketing industry.  She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg.  In addition to her parents and step-father she was preceded in death by Jim’s parents, Clarence and Agnes Brady and 2 sisters-in-law, Margaret (Frank) Furgal and Elma Brady.  In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her son, Jason Brady of Greensburg, her daughter, Annie L. Brady of Baltimore, MD, 3 sisters, Paulette Spisak, Juliane Workley (John) and Jennifer Sadler, her brother, John Gendron (Brenda), a brother-in-law, Dennis Brady and several nieces and nephews.  Family and friends are invited to a memorial mass to be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, July 19, 2024 in Our Lady of Grace Church, 1011 Mt.
