Lillian T. Head, 93, of Greensburg, died Friday, October 4, 2024, at Concordia at Weatherwood, Greensburg. She was born May 27, 1931, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Remo and Elda (Seghini) Trenta. Lillian was a 1948 graduate of Greensburg High School. Prior to retirement, she had been employed by Sears Department Store and had also worked at Troutman’s Department Store. She was a member of St. Paul Parish in Greensburg and their Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the St. Paul Parish Choir and the Diocesan Choir. Lillian had a passion for singing and enjoyed singing at weddings. She had belonged to the Sears Retiree Group. Lillian was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and watching Jeopardy. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. She also enjoyed going on trips, spending time with family, and going to the theater to watch plays and musicals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell T. “Mike” Head; her brother, Guy R. Trent; sister, Ann Pollock; and an infant sister, Josephine. She is survived by her three children, Leslie Sweeney (Tom), Lee Head (Shelia), and Lynn McGill; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 4 to 6 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral liturgy will begin at 11 AM Friday in the funeral home with Deacon John Zombar officiating. Private interment will be in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
