Lawrence W. Johnson

Lawrence W. Johnson, 73, of Bovard, died Friday, September 6, 2024, in Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  He was born July 25, 1951, in Lowellville, OH, a son of the late Harry L. And Helen J. (Schrader) Johnson.  Larry was a Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War.  Prior to retirement, he worked as a steel finisher for Moore and Morford, Inc., South Greensburg.  Larry was a social member of Fox Hill Club and Bovard Fireman’s Club and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard (Mary), Harry, and Ralph (Joanne) Johnson; and an infant daughter, Lyndsay Marie Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Janet (Rhome) Johnson; his daughter, Melissa Lagasse (Tim), of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sons, Lawrence M. Johnson, of Bovard, and Dillon J. Johnson (Christine), of Ligonier; a sister, Kathy Fitch, of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no viewing or services.  LEO M.
