Lawrence Deemer, Jr. Obituary

Lawrence A. Deemer, Jr., 83, of Greensburg, died Friday, May 13, 2022, in his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born July 23, 1938, in Greensburg, a son of the late Lawrence Albert Sr. and Sophie (Lubash) Deemer.  Prior to retirement he had been a journeyman electrician with IBEW Local 5.  He was a member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg.  Lawrence enjoyed family time at the summer house he built in Deep Creek, MD.  He enjoyed woodworking, skiing, fishing, and motorcycle riding.  He was kind and giving.  Lawrence was an Army veteran.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Hollis, and Florence Magrey.  He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Connie L. (Smith) Deemer; his children, Lauren Deemer (Jeff Rhodes), and Kevin Deemer (Christine); two grandchildren, Ethan Deemer and Abygail Deemer; his sister, Delores Plevelich; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday in St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, 1715 Poplar St., Greensburg.  Please go directly to the church.  Private entombment will be in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anne Home, 685 Angela Dr., Greensburg, PA 15601, or to St. Bruno Rosary Altar Society, 1715 Poplar St., Greensburg, PA 15601.  “Well done Dad.”  www.bachafh.com
