Laura B. Koshar, 86, of Unity Township, died Sunday, December 22, 2024 in Newhaven Court at Lindwood, Greensburg. She was born August 11, 1938 in Washington, PA, a daughter of the late Theodore Sr. and Prena A. (Abrell) Bronson. She was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School. Prior to retirement she worked at H & R Block and previously at Bell Telephone both in Greensburg. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. Laura loved flowers, enjoyed travelling and musicals, and took pride maintaining the house her husband Paul built. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Koshar, 3 sisters, Marian Bronson, Iva Cramer and Sara Cramer and 2 brothers, William and Theodore Bronson, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Erica K. Koshar of Squirrel Hill, 8 siblings, Virginia Panichella, Catherine Bell, JoAnn Arnold, Dolores Wasil, Samuel and Harry Bronson, Patricia Evans and Joyce Oliver and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 10 AM Thursday in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 1011 Mt. Pleasant Road, Greensburg. Please go directly to the church. Interment will follow in St. Florian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Westmoreland Food Bank, 100 Devonshire Drive, Delmont, PA 15626. LEO M.
