Kathleen I. Yurcevich, 80, of South Greensburg, died Tuesday, September 19, 2023, in UPMC East, Monroeville. She was born February 20, 1943, in Marguerite, a daughter of the late Paul V. and Irene (Staschak) Bodnar. Prior to retirement she had been employed by Sears Department Store then Echard Drug Store. She was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, South Greensburg, where she was a eucharistic minister and also member of the Rosary Altar. She was also a member of the EC Cruisers Car Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, George P. Yurcevich and her sister, Helen Jane Singer. She is survived by her husband, George L. Yurcevich, Jr., a son, Gregory S. Yurcevich and wife Carol of Southwest Greensburg, a daughter-in-law, Kimberly Yurcevich of Greensburg, four grandchildren, Kaitlyn Stephenson and husband Brandon and Tanner, Lauren and Gregory S. Yurcevich, Jr., three great grandchildren, Khari, Zoey and Elliana, her brother, Regis P. Bodnar and wife Grace of Hempfield Township, her brother-in-law, Larry Singer of Butler and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Monday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg. Entombment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. The St. Bruno Rosary Altar Society will pray the rosary at 1:30 PM Sunday in the funeral home.
