Kathleen A. Czech

Kathleen A. Czech, 71, of United, died Thursday, July 3, 2025 at home.  She was born October 7, 1953 in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late John and Rose (Magyar) Czech.  She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School then received her associates degree from WCCC.  Prior to retirement she worked 30 years at Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.  She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Mt. Pleasant and the former St. Stanislaus Church, Calumet.  Kathleen enjoyed baking cookies and making pierogies.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her partner Jack Tlumack, her aunt Anna Magyar and cousin Richard Magyar.  She is survived by cousins Rachel Magyar, Jason and Erica Magyar and their children Mikayla and Preston, Daniel and Jessica Magyar and their children Easton, Ezra and Elias, Robert and Nancy Palko and many other dear cousins.  Friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM Thursday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Summit and South Silver Streets, Mt. Pleasant, at which time a funeral mass will be held.  Please go directly to the church.  Private interment in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, Calumet.  LEO M.
