Karlene P. Yesho, 81, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, June 25, 2024 in Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born August 13, 1942 in Latrobe, a daughter of the late George C. and Susan J. (Marks) Palmer. She was a graduate of Greensburg High School class of 1960 and prior to retirement worked at WCCC, Youngwood. She had been a member of Holy Cross Church, Youngwood. Karlene loved bowling and playing cards and also loved “Grandma and Grandma Days”. In addition to her parents and step-mother Clara (Pickett) Palmer, she was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Yesho. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Hernan and husband Shawn of Redmond, Wash., her son, Richard Yesho and wife Carol (Matsko) of Youngwood, 4 grandchildren, Jenna Hernan of Seattle, Wash, Kelsey Hernan of Redmond, Wash. and Jeffrey and Monica Yesho both of Youngwood, her sister, Dolores Wiltrout and husband Gerald of Greensburg, 2 brothers, Robert Palmer and wife Connie of Trauger and William Palmer and wife Bonnie of Mutual, a step-sister, Linda Emerick and husband George of Greensburg and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, where a funeral liturgy will be held at 10 AM Saturday with The Rev. John A. Sedlak as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Florian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township.
