June (Ruoff) Gondosh

June R. Gondosh, 85, of Pleasant Unity, died Thursday, August 31, 2023, in her home.  She was born September 30, 1937, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Elmer J. and Martha (Moore) Ruoff.  Prior to retirement she had been a bus driver for 25 years.  June had been a volunteer for Voter Elections and also volunteered for the former VFW, Pleasant Unity Ladies Auxiliary.  She was known for being a soft-spoken person.  She was an avid reader and loved Pittsburgh Pirates baseball.  June also enjoyed baking family desserts and spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Gondosh; four siblings, Thomas Ruoff (Rusty), Donald Ruoff (Sally), Betty Ulishney, and Jean Firestone (Phillip); and her son-in-law, Dennis Webster.  She is survived by her children, Debra Gondosh, Christine Webster (Jay), Joseph J. Gondosh, Jr. (Patty), Susan Simms (Harold), Kelly Snoznik (Raymond), and Sheri Temple (Rich); 12 grandchildren, Eric, Lynda, Kristy, Holly, Tia, K-Lee, Tiffany, Jerid, Peyton, Jessica, Alex, and Ryan; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; brother-in-law, John Ulishney; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity.  A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dale Adams officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Mary Byzantine Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Township.  www.bachafh.com
