Julia M. (Strba) Bray

Julia M. (Strba) Bray, 86, of Greensburg, died Friday, August 23, 2024, in Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  She was born March 17,1938, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late George J. and Mary Katherine (Verska) Strba. Julia was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School Class of 1957.  She was a member of Kingdom Hall in Greensburg and the Western PA Antique Car Club in Latrobe.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 31 years, Charles William Bray on April 6, 2002; her daughter, Jacqueline Lee (Cindric) Johnson on August 17, 2008; mother-in-law, Lela I. Bray; and two siblings, Anna V. Sikora and John M. Strba.  She is survived by four children, Robert M. Cindric, of Wilmington, NC, Celeste M. (Cindric) Flock and husband Jeffrey, of Bovard, Donald L. Bray and wife Paula, of North Huntingdon, and Billie C. (Bray) White and husband Tim, of Greensburg; nine grandchildren, Heather M. (Flock) Page and husband Rob, Jeffrey D. Flock, Jr. and wife Melissa; Michael W. Johnson, Jr., Matthew T. Johnson (Michelle), Nicole M. Bray, Brandon L. Bray, William E. Mekic, Christopher P. Mekic, and Charles G. Mekic; five great-granddaughters, Madeline, Ava, Jamie, Emily, and Olivia; a great-grandson, Peyton; a nephew, Frank Sikora; and a niece, Anna Marie Sikora. There will be no services.  LEO M.
