Judy A. (Makara) Sinclair, 71, of Greensburg, died peacefully with her family by her side Saturday, September 18, 2021, in St. Anne Home, Greensburg after a long battle with chronic lung illness in which she offered her sufferings up to the Lord. She was born December 21, 1949, in New Kensington, a daughter of the late Frank Theodore and Josephine (Istvanik) Makara. Prior to retirement she had been an executive secretary for Gulf Oil. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg, and Rosary Altar Society and Bible Study, both at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Unity Township. Judy was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul, Greensburg, and was also a member of Hearts and Hands Quilt Group, Scottdale, and Sewing Sisters Quilting Group. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Mathew P. Sinclair and Aaron P. Sinclair. She is survived by her husband, Philip G. Sinclair; sister, Karen Myers (Charles), of Gibsonia; niece, Rachel Pagone (Jamie), of Gibsonia; and several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, September 21st at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Wednesday, September 22nd in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth. Face masks will be required in the funeral home and at church.
