Judy G. (Lemmon) Schmucker

Judy G. Schmucker, 81, of Unity Township, died Sunday, June 15, 2025 in Independence Health System Latrobe Hospital.  She was born August 24, 1943 in Unity Township, a daughter of the late Paul P. and Bernice J. (Downs) Lemmon.  She previously worked at the former D & A Auto Auction, New Stanton and was a member of St. Cecilia Church, Whitney.  Judy was a tough, resilient woman and a loving and supportive mother and grandmother that enjoyed following their activities and sports. Her home was often the gathering place for many friends of the family. She loved her farm and miniature horses, making Christmas ornaments for the kids and enjoyed the casino and scratch off tickets.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald P. Schmucker, a son, Lance J. Schmucker, 2 sisters, Bonnye Noonan and Bette Olson and a sister-in-law, Sandra Sinan.  She is survived by her children, Natalie Noel and husband Bernie of Latrobe, Juliann Schmucker of Fort Worth, TX and Rodney Schmucker and wife Jenny of Pooler, GA, 6 grandchildren, Shelby, Brandon and Ashley Noel, Avary and Ethan Schmucker and Sydney Ornelas, 3 sisters, Saundra Helmlinger of Wilmington, NC, Jacque Naeger of Ligonier and Paula Dee Eperesi and husband Edward of Greensburg, a sister-in-law, Marjorie F. Weyandt and husband Daniel of Latrobe and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday in St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Whitney.  Please go directly to the church.  Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Cecilia Church, PO Box 80, Whitney, PA  15693 or Children’s Hospital, 4401 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA  15224.
