Judith S. (Monholland) Snyder

Judith S. Snyder, 71, of United, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023, in Independence Health System Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. She was born Nov. 18, 1951, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late James S. and Betty I. (Thompson) Monholland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Patricia and Janet Monholland, and Nancy A. Reynolds; and a brother, William H. Monholland. She is survived by her husband, James W. Snyder; two sons, James W. Snyder (Denise) and William F. Snyder (Kristie), all of United; four grandchildren, David, James and Sarah Snyder, and Alyssa Cifone; a great grandson, Adam; two brothers, Larry J. Monholland (Diane), of Connellsville, and Keith N. Monholland, of Mt. Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity. Funeral service will be held at noon in the funeral home with the Rev. David L. Greer officiating.
