Joyce A. Shaffer, 77, of Greensburg, died Sunday, January 18, 2026, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born March 3, 1948, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late James and Lucille (Rigoni) Jupena. She was a graduate of Hempfield Area High School. Prior to retirement she had been employed by Elliott Company, Jeannette. Joyce was a world traveler and was an avid reader. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Beth Jupena. She is survived by her son, Adam Wareham (Jessica); her granddaughter, Sierra Wareham; five siblings, James Jupena (Susan), Antoinette Crivaro, Jeffrey Jupena, Timothy Jupena (Shelley), and Bruce Jupena (Janet); and several nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no public visitation. All services are private. LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg is assisting with arrangements.
