Joseph C. Fry, 75, of Greensburg, died Thursday, October 17, 2024, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 27, 1949, in Springfield, OH, a son of the late Joseph Carl, Sr. and Kathryn Louise (Thornburg) Fry. Joseph was a graduate of Hempfield High School and then attended Point Park University earning a bachelor’s degree in business. He was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran. Prior to retirement, he had worked as a mechanical draftsman for Westinghouse. Jospeh loved corvettes, motorcycles, animals, and traveling, especially to Key West, FL. He was a kind and compassionate man that would help anyone who needed it. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Cynthia M. (Vincent) Fry; three daughters, Nicole Wojcik, Jessica Werley (Matt), and Brittney Suter (Jared); his granddaughter, Layla Suter, his grandson, Hunter Wojcik; six siblings, Barb Gettins (Merle), Roger Fry, Kathy Fry, Bruce Fry, Joyce Cox, and Susan Fry; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Patti Vincent; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday in the funeral home followed by full military honors to be accorded by the VFW Post No. 33, Greensburg Honor Guard. Private interment in Central Cemetery, Hempfield Township. The family would like to thank Bridges Hospice, especially Lori, Shannon, and Shyra for their loving and compassionate care.
