John Robert Seighman, 59, of Fair Haven, VT, formerly of Greensburg, died Sunday, February 19, 2023. He was born July 29, 1963, in Greensburg, a son of John and Sally (Craig) Seighman. He was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School. He had been a Westmoreland County 911 dispatcher and an EMT and paramedic with Mutual Aid Ambulance Service. John was a life member of the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department Hose Company No. 7, joining the department on June 21, 1981. He was also a member of the Greensburg VFD Bloodhound Team, the Westmoreland County Firemen’s Association, the Pennsylvania State Firemen’s Association, and was an original member of the Westmoreland County Tactical Rescue Team. John was a board member of the Fair Haven Rescue Squad and was a Fair Haven Town Code officer. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with loved ones at the family cabin. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Tracy (Kelly) Seighman; his siblings, Mark Seighman, Pixie Hurkamp, and Becky Seighman; his grandmother, Betty Craig; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and good friends; and his loving dog, Stella. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 7 PM Friday, March 3, 2023, at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. The Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a service at 7 PM in the funeral home, immediately followed by a funeral service with Harold Johnson officiating. Private inurnment will take place in St. Clair Cemetery Mausoleum, Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department Hose Co. No. 7, P.O.
