John E. Palmer

John E. Palmer, 66, of Hempfield Township, died Friday, December 6, 2024 at UPMC Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh.  He was born July 24, 1958 in Latrobe, a son of the late Glenn L. Palmer and Rose A. (Poole) Pallitta.  John enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time in the outdoors with his friends.  He was a member of Hostetter Slovak Club, Hecla Sportsmen’s Club, Hecla Firemen’s Club and Calumet Community Club.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie J. Palmer and a brother, Jay A. Palmer.  He is survived by a sister, Alicia J. Palmer (Carlos Ortega), 2 brothers, Scott L. Palmer (Cathy) and Donald M. Pallitta (Deborah), a special niece, Brittney Pallitta and several additional nieces and nephews.  A celebration of life will be held at 1 PM Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Hostetter Slovak Club.  Private interment was in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  LEO M.
