John Lastik, 76, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, July 30, 2025, in Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born June 13, 1949, in Greensburg, a son of the late John A. and Hilda M. (Kelly) Lastik. John served in the United States Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of Johnny L’s Sub & Six Pack Shop in Greensburg. Johnny played in numerous local bands in the area over the years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Robbie Menanno and Ed Casini. He is survived by his spouse, Elaine Hankinson; two stepsons, Gary Hankinson (Michelle) and Wayne Hankinson (Tammy); his granddaughter, Christy Anderson (Dan); two grandsons, Matt Hankinson and Lee Hankinson; his granddaughter, Lauren Hankinson; five great grandchildren, Jordyn, Tobyn, Londyn, Sofia, and Oliver; three sisters, Sharon Evans, Patty Nicely (Denny), and Marcy Casini; and five nieces and nephews, Brian Evans, Rob Menanno, John Menanno, Marissa Menanno, and Ed Casini.
