John E. Humenansky, 85, of Leechburg, died Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in Armstrong Hospital, Kittanning. He was born June 24, 1936 in Greensburg, a son of the late John and Eleanor (Mathias) Humenansky. He was a graduate of Greensburg High School Class of 1953 and was a US Army veteran. Prior to retirement he had been employed by PA Department of Public Welfare and also had delivered for Echard Drugstore and Greensburg Floral. He was a former member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg and attended Holy Innocents Anglican church, Leechburg. He was also a member of Pennsylvania Association of Retired State Employees. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Humenansky; and a sister, Mary Louise Humenansky. He is survived by his best friend and companion, Amy A. Marshall; two brothers, Richard Humenansky (Linda) and William Humenansky (Patricia); and nieces and nephews, Taylor, Luke, Noah, Cameron, Scott, Shannon, Todd and Mark Humenansky. Friends will be received from 11 AM to 1:30 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg, at which time a funeral liturgy will be held in the funeral home.
