JoAnn D. (Guarino) Pry

JoAnn D. Pry, 79, of Lake Ariel, PA, formerly of Greensburg, died Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA.  She was born April 27, 1946, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Harry Guarino and Lillian (Ludwig) Vaia.  Prior to retirement she had worked as a certified nurse’s aide at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital, and had also worked at the former Mountain View Nursing Center, Greensburg.  JoAnn was a former member of St. Vincent Basilica, Latrobe.  She enjoyed reading and going to flea markets.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her foster mother, Mary Yencha; her twin brother, John Guarino; two sisters, Dolly DeGrazio and Toni Houston; and brothers, Bob, Bill, and Vince Guarino.  She is survived by her former husband, George Pry; two daughters, Lisa Muchnock and husband Joseph, and Lori Pry; three grandchildren, Stephen Muchnock, Lindsy Muchnock, and Kaitlyn Kuhns (Baily); her great-grandson, Luke; two sisters, Joyce Hunter and Vicki Randis and husband Bob; and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.  There will be no public visitation.  All services and interment are private.  LEO M.
