Janet K. (Brownfield) Anderson

Janet K. Anderson, 81, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in St. Anne’s Home, Greensburg.  She was born March 13, 1944, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Ruth (McCurdy) and James N. Brownfield, Sr.

Janet was a graduate of Greensburg High School, class of 1962.  Prior to retirement she worked within the home healthcare industry, retiring from Mosso Medical Supply. 

Janet is survived by her three children, Kathy Cortese (Dennis), Dave Anderson (Roberta), and Dana Petrosky (Lee); six grandchildren, Lindsay Lucci (Eric), Samantha Zorn (Chad), Erica Carrolli (Nick), Nicole Plues (Brian), Kelsey Fleegle (Zach), and Logan Petrosky (Michaela); 11 great-grandchildren, Aubree, Levi, Jack, Max, Mia, Bentley, Oliver, Reagan, Mason, Wyatt, Harper, plus one more on way; a brother, James N. Brownfield, Jr. (Rhonda) and their sons, Mario and Wilmer. 

At Janet’s request, there will be no public visitation.  A private Celebration of Life will be held at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Janet’s name to St. Anne’s Home, 685 Angela Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601.
