James S. Furin

James S. Furin, 72, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, March 29, 2022, in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg.  He was born June 25, 1949, in Greensburg, a son of the late Stephen and Josephine (Falkosky) Furin.  Prior to retirement he had been a truck driver and mechanic.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Selma Jane Furin; and his brother, Paul Furin.  He is survived by his son, John R. Furin (Trisha), of San Antonio, TX; his daughter, Tammy Brisson (Jeffrey), of Elizabethtown, NC; five grandchildren, Ashley, Kristen, Carrie, David, and Elle; two great-grandchildren, Bentley and Zoey; two brothers, Ralph S. Furin (Karen), of South Greensburg, and David Furin (Leah), of Reno, NV; his sister, Sally Sunday, of Reno, NV; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will begin at 10 AM Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Brian B. Chaffee officiating.  Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  www.bachafh.com
