Harry Ray Blank

In his own words, Harry Ray Blank, 66, of Unity Township, passed away surrounded by his family on February 18, 2025. He was born on December 4, 1958 in Greensburg, a son of the late Elinor Dee (Raymaley) Blank and J. Marshall Blank. Survived by his wife, Brenda (Montell) Blank, who he was fortunate to marry in 1978 and is grateful that she decided to share her life with him. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Alexis Marie (Blank) Gardner and her husband Jack Gardner III, a grandson who was his pride and joy, Jack Gardner IV, his siblings, Jacob M. Blank and wife Jennifer, Maryann (Blank) Quayle and husband Caz, and Marsha (Blank) Kashurba and husband Dennis and many nieces and nephews. Since 1991, he worked for the Maintenance Department at Excela Health (now Independence Health System). He was an active member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ congregation his entire life, whom he thanks for their endless support since his multiple cancer diagnoses beginning in 2015. He was fortunate to meet and share family with the entire Gardner family. They are a wonderful family that he was blessed to know, love, and spend time with.
