Hannah E. Ghrist

Hannah E. Ghrist, 29, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Greensburg, died Sunday, July 20, 2025, in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.  She was born February 21, 1996, in Jeannette.  She was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School, received her bachelor’s degree from Robert Morris University, and received her master’s degree from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  She had been employed by the National Labor Relations Board, Pittsburgh.  Hannah enjoyed life and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ken Kohl and Wilbur Ghrist.  She is survived by her beloved mother, Susan Ghrist; her brothers, Jesse and Sam Ghrist; boyfriend, Andrew Trebesh; her father, Mark Ghrist; grandmothers, Karen Kohl and Marion Ghrist; her great aunt Ruth; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; her dogs, Moose and Akela; and “Hannah’s Baddies”.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  www.bachafh.com.  A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Caroline Clifford officiating.  Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Export.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org.
