Glenna M. Verras

Glenna M. Verras, 73, of Ligonier, died Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Independence Health System Latrobe Hospital. She was born June 16, 1950, in Braddock, a daughter of the late Herman Walter Bruggeman and Glenna M. (Heshizer) Schlessinger. She worked as a caregiver for Community Living Care. In her free time, Glenna enjoyed cooking and baking. She was very kindhearted and fun to be around. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Bruggeman Sr.; and her sister, Candy Bruggeman.  She is survived by her daughter, Laura Lint; two grandchildren, Amber, and Joseph Lint; two great grandchildren, Falisha Palmer, and Austin Musselman; a sister, Cheryl L. Briggs; a brother, Mark Bruggeman and wife Diane; and several nieces, nephews, and loving extended family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday with Pastor David Clement officiating.  Private Interment in Brush Creek Cemetery, Hempfield Township.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 510 Pellis Road Greensburg PA 15601.  www.bachafh.com
