George V. Pauli, 89, of Bovard, died Sunday, May 7, 2023, in UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born July 21, 1933, in Monarch, PA, a son of the late George and Helen (Langgle) Pauli. George was extremely proud to be an Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. Prior to retirement he had been a glassworker for PPG Industries. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. George played saxophone with the Music Masters, where he met his future wife. He was a member of the Auxiliary Police, Bovard Volunteer Fire Department, Moose Lodge, American Legion, and the St. Bede’s Men’s Club. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Stella “Daisy” (Haynackie) Pauli; his sister, Ruth Belisle; and his brother, Francis Pauli. He is survived by three daughters, Cynthia A. Marchioni (Tom), Michele M. Graham (John), and Karen L. Langgle (Bob); five grandchildren, Sarah Marchioni, Jason Marchioni (Jill), Lauren Stilphen (Dan), Adam Graham, and Joseph Langgle; six great-grandchildren, Olivia, Carmella, Max, Mason, Layla, and Leo; his sister, Judith Schomer; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Thursday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum with Full Military Honors accorded by the VFW Post No. 33, Greensburg Honor Guard. www.bachafh.com
