George H. Hartman, 91, of Greensburg, formerly of Penn Hills, died Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at his home. He was born October 28, 1933, in Swissvale, a son of the late George Henry Hartman and Nettie Mae (Tanzie) Hartman Edstrom. Prior to retirement he had been employed by Westinghouse in Churchill. George was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a member of Masonic Lodge and Norwin Elks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janet James (John). He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Kay (Hill) Hartman; two daughters, Laura Pedder (Ken) and Leslie Hartman; two grandchildren, Jacob Pedder (April) and Sarah Dukovic (Mike); four great-grandsons, Henry and Daniel Dukovic and Perrin and August Pedder; his brother, Bruce Hartman (Kathy); and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 10 AM Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Tammy Falcik officiating. Interment will follow in Brush Creek Cemetery in Irwin. www.bachafh.com
