Frederick G. Beehner, Jr.

Frederick G. Beehner, Jr., 89, of Greensburg, died Sunday, October 15, 2023, in Westmoreland Manor, Hempfield Township.  He was born November 14, 1933 in Greensburg, a son of the late Frederick G. Sr. and Hilda M. (Grim) Beehner.  Prior to retirement he owned and operated Beehner’s Garage, Greensburg.  He was a life member and former Assistant Chief of Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department Truck Company No. 2, member of the Westmoreland County Firemen’s Association and the PA State Firemen’s Association and member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.  Fred enjoyed hunting and spending time at his Camp Get Away in Somerset County.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Pohland) Beehner.  He is survived by 3 children, Stephen J. Beehner and wife Stacy Cole of Greensburg, Kimberly White and husband Robert of Southwest Greensburg and Bradley S. Beehner and wife Stacie of Greensburg, 4 grandchildren, Cole Beehner and wife Jennifer, Nicole Combs and husband Thomas, Kristine George and husband Tom and Michelle Preston and husband Dave, 4 great grandchildren, his sister, Linda B. Mull of Natrona Heights and several nieces and nephews.  There will be no visitation or viewing.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  LEO M.
