Frank J. Salvio, 76, of Greensburg, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, peacefully at home. He was born April 17, 1948, in Greensburg, a son of the late Biagio and Edna (Gilbert) Salvio. Frank was the owner of Salvio’s Auto Service for 44 years. He lived life to the fullest. Frank enjoyed fishing, gambling, and smashing cars in the demolition derby. His children and grandchildren were his life. He was a member of Zion’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greensburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Frank Salvio, Jr; and eight siblings, Ben, Ida, Gene, Carol, Leona, Betty, Joe, and Kenny. He is survived by the love of his life for 58 years, his wife, Patricia M. (Heasley) Salvio; four children, Denise Daugherty (Matthew), Gene Salvio (Stacey), Jim Salvio (Peggy), and Chrissy Bartok (Jimmy); thirteen grandchildren, Anthony (Breanna), Brittany (Martin), Vincent (Jennifer), Erica (Jon), Jordan (Lizzie), Courtney (Matt), Samantha (Johnny), Ashton (Anthonee), Chase (Kiarah), Brielle (Croix), Giavanna, Nico, and Noah; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marion Ghrist and Frances Cavallo; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 12:30 to 2:30 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg, followed by a funeral service to begin at 2:30 PM in the funeral home with the Rev. Brian Chaffee officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. www.bachafh.com
