Florence F. (Kovka) Jenkins

Florence F. Jenkins, 68, of Greensburg, died Saturday, February 27, 2021 in her home.  She was born December 13, 1952 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late William George and Margery Gladys (Swartz) Kovka.  Prior to retirement she had been a victim abuse advocate for the Blackburn Center.  She was also a dedicated court appointed special advocate (CASA).  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Jacob “Jack” Jenkins.  She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Jenkins; son, JJ Jenkins and wife Donna; seven grandchildren, Jorry, Rylan, Jackson, Arian, Rilyn, Keaton, and Jersey; her great-granddaughter, Gracelyn; five siblings, Bonnie Lombardo, Linda Visco and husband Lou, George Kovka, Bill Kovka and wife Rose, and Michael Kovka; several nieces; and one nephew.  Family and friends will be received from 11 AM to 12:30 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Please be prepared to adhere to all current health guidelines, including face masks and social distancing.  Private interment will be in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blackburn Center, PO Box 398, Greensburg, PA 15601 or CASA of Westmoreland, 2 N.
