Emerson L. Faust

Emerson L. Faust, 99, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in Hempfield Manor, Greensburg.  He was born January 25, 1923, in Herminie, a son of the late Judson E. and May (Marshall) Faust.  Prior to retirement he had been employed by Westland Dairy.  He was a member of Church of the Brethren, Southwest Greensburg.  Emerson was a Navy veteran serving during World War II.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, L. Joan Faust; three sisters, Frances Gordon, Irene Middlemiss, and Gladys Bartok; and three brothers, Warren Faust, Alan Faust, and Neil Faust.  He is survived by his children, Eileen Dobosh (Stephen), of Charleroi, Joyce Manning (Greg), of Highland, Illinois, Karen Knesh (Kenny), of Greensburg, Scott Faust (Christine Hoenshell), of Greensburg, and Paul Faust (Cheryl), of Ligonier; 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; his sister, Jean Faust, of Latrobe; sister-in-law, Nancy Faust, of Herminie; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 11 AM to 1 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will immediately follow at 1 PM Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Stephen Parfitt officiating.  Private interment will take place in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.  www.bachafh.com
