Elsie G. (Gazze) Egle

Elsie G. Egle, 101, of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Greensburg, died Thursday, February 23, 2023, in Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta, GA.  She was born September 28, 1921, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Edward A. and Mary A. (Ciotti) Gazze.  Prior to retirement she had been employed by Edwin K. Williams and Company.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry John “Jack” Egle Sr.; four brothers, Peter, Joseph, Frank, and Anthony Gazze; and four sisters, Rose Marie Scheid, Anne Weaver, Ida Gazze, and twin Clara Gazze.  She is survived by her children, Henry John Egle, Jr. and Debbie Barmeier (Richard); two grandsons, Richard Charles Barmeier (Ceara) and Timothy John Barmeier (Renèe); four great-grandchildren, Elianna, Richard Jr., Barrett, and River; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11 AM with the Rev. Dawn Lynn Check officiating.  Private interment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.  www.bachafh.com
