Elizabeth J. (Falcon) Corsi

Elizabeth J. (Falcon) Corsi, 101, of Greensburg, died July 23, 2026, at her home.  She was born April 8, 1925, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Julius and Teresa (DiSanto) Falcon. She was a graduate of Greensburg High School. Prior to retirement, she had been the manager of the shoe department of the Greensburg store of Joseph Horne Company.  She was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg. She was the heart of her Italian family, sharing cherished traditions and creating a home where everyone felt welcomed, loved, and nourished.  Whether gathered around the table for Sunday dinners, celebrating holidays, or sharing stories passed down through generations, she believed that family was life’s greatest blessing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Carl Corsi, November 2, 2008; siblings, James Falcon, Paul Falcon, Mary Balya, Elsie Pellis, Julius Falcon, William Falcon, Joseph Falcon, and Viola Falcon; and in-laws, Joseph Balya, Neil Pellis, Sam Bitonti, Mary Falcon, Mary Genard Falcon, Dolly Falcon, Marie Falcon, and Angeline (Bando) Falcon. She is survived by her son, Joseph Corsi, of Greensburg; her daughter, Marcia DePaul and her husband Louis, of Greensburg; a grandson, Louis DePaul and his wife Megan, of Upper Saint Clair; a granddaughter, Jaclyn Kurpiel and her husband Christopher, of South Fayette; four great-grandchildren, Giuliana and Louis DePaul and Joseph and Dominic Kurpiel; two sisters, Viola Bitonti and Margaret Falcon, of Greensburg; a sister-in-law, Carolyn (Stephenson) Falcon, of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her name to Westmoreland Food Bank.  www.bachafh.com
