Elaine B. Serembo

Elaine B. Serembo, 73, of Jeannette, died Thursday, January 2, 2025, in UPMC East, Monroeville. She was born April 26, 1951, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Robert Barr and Mildred (Schworer) Black. She was a member of St. Paul Parish in Greensburg. Elaine was very easy-going, had a pleasant personality, nice to everyone, never talked about anyone, never complained, and never had a bad word to say about anyone.  She loved going to SNPJ, bowling and bocci tournaments, and loved bingo especially at Lazy Acres Campground. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Barr Black, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Richard “Rich” S. Serembo; two sons, Richard R. (Mindy) and Robert M. (Allison) Serembo; two grandchildren, Richard O. and Autumn L. Serembo who she especially liked spending time with; two sisters, Becky Glass (Chris) and Dianne Demine; her sister-in-law, Sandy Tempo (John); and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the funeral home.  Entombment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park Mausoleum. www.bachafh.com
