Edwin “Ed” V. Wiltz, 74, of Greensburg, died Thursday, July 1, 2021, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born at his home on July 29, 1946, in Charleroi, a son of the late Clarence and Geraldine (Jugghens) Wiltz. Prior to retirement he had been a mechanical repairman who specialized in lubrication at the US Steel Edgar Thompson plant. He was an Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Greensburg Church of Christ, Southwest Greensburg. Ed was a lifetime member of the VFW Post No. 33, Greensburg. He was also a longtime softball coach for Fort Allen Recreation and served as president of FAVOR. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two special aunts, Julia and Guill Jugghens. He is survived by his wife, Margaret “Maggi” K. (Keenan) Wiltz; three daughters, Kristine M. Wiltz (Jared Hall-Dugas), of Stow, MA, Kelley A. Williams (Eric), of Elizabeth, and Keri L. Lachman (Ron), of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Jackson and Julia Wiltz, and Kamryn, Jacob, Tyler, and Trevor Williams; five siblings, Jerry Wiltz (Clara), of Wheeling, WV, Eileen Cadwallader, of Greensburg, Ken Wiltz (Linda), Shirley Wiltz, and Bill Wiltz (Joanne), all of Charleroi; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Wednesday in the funeral home with Minister Nick Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park with Full Military Honors accorded by the VFW Post No. 33, Greensburg Honor Guard. www.bachafh.com
