Edward A. Stauffer, 87, of Brinkerton, died Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born August 8, 1937 in Greensburg, a son of the late John and Mary (Smith) Stauffer. He served with the US Air Force and prior to retirement was a self-employed contractor. Ed enjoyed hunting, gardening, everyone’s dogs and most recently was very proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 9 siblings, Wayne, Mary Marjoretta Stewart, Kenneth, Sarah “Sally” Eskut, Ruth Rushe, John “Jack”, Jacqueline Cooperrider, Thomas and Timothy. He is survived by his significant other, Mary Anne Domenico, 6 children, Christopher D. (Tracey), Wayne E. (Mary), Roger L. (Mary) and William P. (Renee) Stauffer, Michelle L. (Chuck) Walters and Craig D. (Marie) Stauffer, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, a sister, June Sullenberger and numerous nieces and nephews. At Edward’s request there will be no visitation or viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date. LEO M.
