Edward S. Nowicki

Edward S. Nowicki, 86, of Greensburg, died Thursday, June 25, 2026, in his home. He was born November 25, 1939, in Everson, a son of the late Sylvester M. and Evelyn (Jackamonis) Nowicki.  Ed was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School and an Army veteran.  Prior to retirement he had been employed by Dr. Wesner and Dr. Dahar Orthodontics.  Ed enjoyed golfing with his buddies at Hannastown Country Club and traveling with his longtime friend, Dr. Wesner. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Archabbot Douglas R. Nowicki, O.S.B.; and his brother-in-law, Dean Sickenberger. He is survived by his son, Edward Nowicki (Kathleen); three daughters, Lori Nowicki Bottarini (Brian), Kim Pesarchick (Bruce), and Kristen Aron (Ross); 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his brother, Lawrence Nowicki (Katie); his sister, Sylvia Sickenberger; and nieces and nephew, Stacey Nowicki Muetzel, Diane Sickenberger Armstrong and Dean Sickenberger. 

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral mass is to be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday in Saint Vincent Basilica, 300 Fraser Purchase Rd., Latrobe.
