Edward V. Genes

Edward V. Genes, 97, of Greensburg, died, Tuesday, October 17, 2023. He was born September 14, 1926, in Duquesne, a son of the late John and Marianne (Vislay) Genes. Prior to retirement Edward had been a salesman for various companies in the business of Hydronic Accessory Manufacturing. He was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine, Greensburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean M. Genes. He is survived by his son, Bill A. Genes (Laura) and two grandchildren, Rachael, and Benjamin Genes. Edward enjoyed his grandchildren and the time he spent with them more than anything.  Friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM.
