Dr. Wesley C. Beauregard M.D., 45, of McKees Rocks, died Monday, May 2, 2022. He was born December 11, 1976, in Akron, OH, a son of Paul A. and Sandra K. (Phelps) Beauregard. Dr. Beauregard received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and molecular biology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2000, his MD from Medical College of Ohio in 2005, and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2010. He was an Army veteran and served for 13 years. During his service, he was deployed to Iraq from 2007-2008, working in Detainee Medical Operations. He was deployed to Iraq again from 2009-2010, serving as Battalion Flight Surgeon 1st Calvary. He was also deployed to Afghanistan serving as a Brigade Flight Surgeon 82nd Airborne. Finally, he was stationed at Fort Rucker, AL where he worked in Aeromedical Activity. After his honorable discharge, Dr. Beauregard practiced Aerospace and Occupational Medicine for Concentra Urgent Care. He was an accomplished, self-taught musician in drums and guitar. In his free time, he loved to compose music, write poetry, and study physics and electronics. He adored his four cats that he rescued from homelessness. Dr. Beauregard was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ben and Alice Phelps; paternal grandparents, David and Mary Beauregard; and aunts and uncles, Judy (Phelps) Marks, Benny Phelps, and Karen (Beauregard) Cole. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Brett C. Beauregard (Melissa); two nephews, Zachary and Wyatt Beauregard; uncle, Fr. David Beauregard; aunt, Barbara Beauregard; and several cousins. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Martin R. Ankrum officiating. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg with Full Military Honors accorded by the VFW Post No. 33, Greensburg Honor Guard. www.bachafh.com
