Douglas R. Miller, 79, of Acme, died Monday, July 7, 2025, in Kane Community Living Center, McKeesport. He was born July 13, 1945, in Greensburg, a son of the late Robert W. and Elinor (Swanson) Miller. Douglas was a graduate of Hempfield Area High School. He served in the United States Army and the Pennsylvania National Guard for over 25 years. He was a member of Acme Open Bible Church. He was also a member of Rolling Thunder, Chapter 6 and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. Douglas enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and collecting guns. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard Miller. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Wagus) Miller; five children, Travis Miller, Justin Miller, Sonja Dolnick, Rachael Dolnick, and Meghan Seeley; 11 grandchildren, Brandon, Rebecca, Logan, and Shelby Miller, Katelynn Coulier, Trinady, Aliyah, and Charley Miller, Micah and Elsie Lash, and Cassandra Whetsel; and his sister, Donna Lechner. Friends will be received from 11 AM to 12 PM Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 12 PM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg with military honors to be accorded by the VFW Post No. 33, Greensburg. www.bachafh.com
