Dorothy L. (Crawford) Piper

Dorothy L. Piper, 86, of Youngstown, died Thursday, April 16, 2026 in Bethlen Home, Ligonier.  She was born November 10, 1939 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Paul R. and Edith (Beckner) Crawford.  She was a graduate of Latrobe High School class of 1957, member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church and loved shopping.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Piper, Sr., a daughter, Michelle R. Bier and 2 brothers, Paul and Donald Crawford.  She is survived by a son, William A. Piper, Jr. of Union, KY, a daughter, Kimberly Donitzen (John) of Latrobe, 6 grandchildren, Nicole Nemila (Kevin), W. Andrew Piper, III (Robyn), Aleasha Japalucci (Jordan), Kristin Piper, Jessica Jasper (Kody) and John Donitzen, Jr., 6 great grandchildren, Zoey Cole (Brendan), Lily Mae Monholland, Caden Jasper, Ayden Matthew Piper, Elianna Mae Piper and Eloise Nemila and several nieces and nephews.  Family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 PM Friday, April 24, 2026 at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity.
