Obituary
Dorothy (Medved) Capasso, 85, of Greensburg, died Monday, April 3, 2023, in St. Clair Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born August 10, 1937, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late George and Barbara (Cindric) Medved. She was a member of St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg, and the church’s Rosary Altar Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carlo Louis Capasso; two brothers, Andrew and Stephen John Medved; and nine sisters, Clara Lessik, Mary Topoli, Eva Buttner, Ann Kireta, Katherine Kalata, Agnes Silic, Margaret Lucas, Lucy Yurich, and Helen Rose. She is survived by her sister, Joan Letterine, of North Huntingdon; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law of the Capasso family; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a great-great-nephew. A private funeral mass was celebrated at St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg. Private interment followed in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg. LEO M.
