Donna J. Howard Briner

Donna J. Howard Briner, 93, of Mt. Pleasant Township, died Thursday, November 20, 2025 in Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  She was born January 16, 1932 in Whitney, a daughter of the late Bessie (Jones) Sherrow.  She was a graduate of Hurst High School and member of Amaranth’s Eastern Star.  Prior to retirement she worked at the former Lilly Shop in Greensburg.  Donna was a member of Kecksburg Church of God, was a good caring mother and loved her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dale Howard, her second husband, George B. Briner, her brother, Jay Sherrow and a sister, Emigale Hayes.  She is survived by four sons, Keith Howard (Karen), Glenn Howard (Debbie), Doug Howard (Susan) and Brian Howard (Monica), 7 grandchildren, Craig (Tomi), Curt (Ivy), Chris, Aaron (Amanda), Travis (Karly), Clayton (Taylor) and Natalie Howard, 11 great grandchildren, Zachary, Nathan, Ryan, Alivia, Kayden, Austin, Aiden, Rory, Colt, Alissa and Dean, a sister, Marcia Long (Ken) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon Tuesday, November 25 at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, at which time funeral services will be held with Pastor Robert Iksic and The Rev. David L. Greer officiating.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Kecksburg Church of God, 1255 Claypike Road, Mt. Pleasant, PA  15666.
